WAGS Bulletin

WAGS Bulletins 1972 – Present

Since its founding, the WAGS Bulletin has been published twice yearly as the flagship journal of the Watauga Association of Genealogists. Each issue is packed with richly detailed genealogical and historical material — including abstracts of tax and probate records, cemetery transcriptions, church registers, wills, deeds, biographical sketches, family Bible records, query and surname files, and reviews of local sources. Over the years the Bulletin has also featured historical essays, reminiscences, membership directories, and research aids. Together, these issues form a unique, continuous record of the people, places, and record-holdings of Northeast Tennessee.

The Bulletins were produced as printed publications from 1972-2016 and in PDF format 2017-present.  Although some of the Bulletins are now out of print, all issues are available in PDF format on DVDs and USB flash drives.
