Getting to Know FamilySearch’s New Full-Text Search
FamilySearch’s new full-text search feature opens exciting new possibilities for genealogical research. By searching the actual text of historical records, researchers can uncover details that were previously buried in page images and unindexed collections. In this session, Kathryn Grant will guide us through how to make the most of this powerful tool. We’ll explore what records are included, how the technology works, and strategies for crafting effective searches to discover hidden ancestors and enrich our family histories.
